County health departments will investigate complaints about alleged violations of the Smoke-Free Arizona Act. County health departments will notify the proprietor of the public place or place of employment and/or conduct an inspection within 15 days after receipt of a complaint.
If you are not sure whether the issue you want to report is a violation of the Act, please feel free to call us at 1-877-429-6676. When complaints are filed with allegations that are not violations of the Act, those complaints are not investigated and are closed out.

NEW! The Smoke-Free Arizona Program now has a free phone application available for Android and iPhone users. The phone application will allow citizens to quickly and easily submit complaints by taking a picture of the violation and sending it, along with GPS coordinates and other descriptive information about the business in violation, to the Smoke-Free Arizona Program who will file the complaint. The mySmokeFreeAZ app can be downloaded for iPhone and Android.
